It appears that WhatsApp is introducing a new function that enables users to send video notes to several contacts at once, doing away with the need to repeatedly shoot the same video.

A new camera mode that makes it easier to share content in chats is currently available to select beta testers, according to WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo. Users can now record video notes right within the camera interface, eliminating the need to tap and hold the camera icon in the chat bar.

This tool offers a more standardized and user-friendly way to transmit video remarks, clearing up any past uncertainty. It is now accessible to a limited number of beta testers who utilize iOS and Android devices. Soon, a wider rollout is anticipated.

Users of WhatsApp will soon receive additional updates.

In a separate post, WABetaInfo stated that owners of WhatsApp channels will soon have the ability to send GIFs, movies, messages, and images to their channels. Additionally, they have the ability to send media straight to the WhatsApp channels from other programs like File Explorer.

“A major improvement for channel owners is the addition of the tool that makes it simple to forward and share messages, images, videos, and GIFs directly to channels. This functionality reduces the number of steps that were previously needed to manage channels, making the process easier,” it continued.

It will no longer be necessary for users to manually post media to the channel from their devices. Users will have the ability to transfer material from other programs, such as File Explorers or the photo library, or immediately forward items from private chats to their channels.

More people should soon be able to access the service, which is presently under beta testing for Android.

Admins and members cannot use this function; it is exclusively available to WhatsApp channel owners.

In other news, WhatsApp is developing a new Meta AI feature that will allow the chatbot GenAI to create artificial intelligence (AI) photos of users.

With the help of this function, users will be able to capture a single collection of images, which Meta AI will use to create AI images. In order to ensure that the generated images appropriately depict their appearance, users must take setup photos that will be analyzed, according to WABetaInfo.

Users can ask Meta AI to create an AI image of themselves by requesting it in a chat window by entering “Imagine me” or by contacting the chatbot directly with “@MetaAI” after capturing photographs.

According to the article, users will have complete control over the function and can utilize the Meta AI settings at any moment to remove their setup photographs.
