BTS Images From Stranger Things Season 5 Hint to Bloody Eleven and a Return to Hawkins Lab

The star of Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown, teases what’s coming for Eleven in a fresh set of behind-the-scenes pictures from season 5. One of the most watched original programs on Netflix is the Duffer Brothers’ acclaimed horror fantasy series, which debuted there in 2016. Stranger Things’ fourth season, which debuted in 2022 and featured Eleven (Brown) vs Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), brought the show’s viewership to new heights. Season five, which is now in production, is scheduled to end the story the following year.

Brown is posting fresh set photographs to Instagram, one of which shows her as Eleven sporting bloody nose goggles, as the fifth season of Stranger Things begins filming. See the following post from Brown:

The pictures also include Matt Duffer and Brown’s poodle, Winnie, in addition to the new Eleven tease. Curiously, one of the images also shows the façade of Hawkins National Laboratory completely covered with tentacles, hinting to a possible final visit to this recognizable set.

The Persona of Millie Bobby Brown Will Be More Significant Than Before

Eleven is set to take on a bigger role than ever in Season 5, which will mark the end of the road for the main cast of Stranger Things. Brown’s character has effectively been humanity’s first line of defense against the Upside Down monsters in previous seasons, and it appears that she will play this role once more in the upcoming set of episodes.

Even though Vecna is vanquished by Eleven in season 4, the penultimate season of the show ends with the villain’s scheme succeeding and Hawkins serving as the epicenter for an Upside Down incursion into the real world.

Hawkins seemed destined to turn into a battlefield following the events of Stranger Things season 4. Tentacles stretching across other parts of Hawkins have been shown in earlier sets of behind-the-scenes photographs, indicating Eleven and her companions may find it difficult to stop the Upside Down from spreading. Vecna is still alive in the episode, so there’s probably going to be more conflict between the two.

Apart from facing the horrors of the Upside Down, it’s plausible that Eleven will play a part in Max’s (Sadie Sink) future, given that the character was rendered unconscious at the conclusion of season 4. Eleven and Mike’s (Finn Wolfhard) relationship will also have to come to an end in Season 5, with either of them concluding they’re better off as friends or ending with them together. It’s possible that further Stranger Things season 5 set photographs will be made public in the upcoming weeks while production is still ongoing.
