NEET-PG 2024 will now be held on August 11

August 11, 2024 is the date of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2024, which is being held, according to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.

There will be two shifts for the exam. The notification also stated that August 15, 2024, would remain the deadline for eligibility to participate in the NEET-PG 2024.

On the NBEMS website, more information about the examination’s two shift schedule will be available.

Only a few hours before it was scheduled to take place on June 23, the Health Ministry had earlier stated that the NEET-PG entrance exam would be postponed “as a precautionary measure” due to concerns regarding the “integrity of certain competitive examinations.”

The Union Home Ministry hosted a meeting on July 2 where representatives from the Health Ministry, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), its technical partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and the Cyber Cell discussed the readiness for the online NEET-PG exam.

According to insiders, the purpose of the conference was to assess the system’s “robustness” in preparation for the upcoming exam.
